Silk Christmas Tree Skirt Finishing Details: Trims, Fringes etc. to give your tree skirt a finished look.

My preference is to match the trim to the fabric color. Say for instance, if you choose ivory fabric, your trim will be ivory. If your fabric is red, I will come as close as possible to the shade/tone of red in your skirt. If you decide to have your skirt trimmed out in rope that coordinates with your decorations, I will use either a solid color or a twist with more than one of the colors in your Design Element.

Colored Rope Trims to match or contrast with the skirt/decorations colors can be selected in the cart and are subject to availability. For instance, this Design Element https://www.silkchristmastreeskirts.com/Custom-Made/beaded-candelabra-candles has four colors: red, green, royal blue, cream, yellow and gold.  You can select a rope trim trim to match any one of those colors if you prefer. But to me, the colored trims do not look as elegant on the finished silk tree skirt. So, you would be making this choice at your own risk. :-)

We can also do a matching or contrasting fringe color where the rope trim and fringe match the fabric. For a tree skirt that will lay on the floor, fringe with a rope trim will be overkill. The elements themselves provide visual interest as well as sparkle and glitter under the tree. However, if you are using your skirt in a tabletop arrangement, fringe will be a nice addition to your design.
